Ending an obscenity

For this blogger, the barrier created by earlier administrations between the US and Cuba has been a decades-long, embarrassing obscenity. Barack Obama took the first step today in breaking through that barrier. Have a great Memorial Day weekend

I am sitting at my desk on this Friday afternoon and have been thinking about the up coming Memorial Day. Most Americans are busy trying to get out of town for a weekend get away on travel plans which has lead to a “nonchalant observance of Memorial Day.” It is a shame that true meaning has been faded by three day weekends and barbeques.
